Ron Paul was on the Daily Show last night promoting his new book “End the Fed“. Even Jon Stewart said everyone should read this book… and we agree.

Sunday, September 27th, 2009Over 2000 people turned out for a townhall featuring Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann at the University of Minnesota. There was a small turnout of a pro-obamacare protesters, but most ending up agreeing with Paul on foreign policy and the drug war. It would be interesting to bring Ron Paul to OSU in the future… stay tuned.
YAL at OSU at The Student Involvement Fair
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009The YAL chapter at Ohio State University took part in their first Student Involvement Fair. Despite it pouring several times throughout the fair (which was held outside), over 150 people signed up for more information about the group. Over 200 pocket constitutions were handed out (they only lasted the first hour of the 4 hour fair) and 300 custom YAL water bottles. There was also a silver raffle at the table, but what garnered the most attention was the debt clock.

S 604 Signatures Delivered
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009YAL at OSU members Dave Grabaskas, Clayton Stamper, and Angela Righi, along with Jason Rink from the Ohio Liberty Council, delivered over 1300 signatures to Sen. Voinovich’s and Sen Brown’s offices in support of S 604 the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act, better known as the audit the fed bill.
